The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "None of you should bathe in still water while in a state of major ritual impurity."The people asked, "What should he do then, Abu Hurayrah?"He replied, "He should scoop the water out."
أن رسول الله ﷺ قال: لا يغتسل أحدكم الماء الدائم وهو جنب. قالوا: كيف يفعل يا أبا هريرة؟ قال: يتناوله تناولا.
Muslim reported it in the Chapter on Purification (283) through multiple routes, from Ibn Wahb, from Amr bin Harith, from Bukayr bin Ashaj, that Abu Saaib, the freed slave of Hisham bin Zahra, told him that he heard Abu Hurairah say... and he mentioned something similar.
