The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever supports three daughters, providing for them, showing them mercy, and treating them with kindness, will enter Paradise."A man asked, "Messenger of Allah ﷺ, what about two?"He replied, "And two as well."We thought that if someone had asked about one, he would have said, "And one as well."
قال رسول الله ﷺ: من عال ثلاث من بنات يكفيهن ويرحمهن ويرفق بهن فهو في الجنة، فقال رجل: يارسول الله ﷺ واثنتين؟ قال: واثنتين حتى قلنا: إن إنسانا لو قال: واحدة، لقال واحدة.

This was narrated by Abu Yaala (2210), and this is his wording, and Ibn Abu Shayba (943), both from the hadith of Yazid bin Harun, who said, Sufyan bin Husayn told us, from Muhammad bin Munkadir, from Jabir bin Abdullah, and he related it. Its isnad is sahih. The hadith has other paths of transmission with Ahmad (14247) and others, and what I have mentioned is the soundest of them.As for what was narrated from Awf bin Malik Ashjai, who said, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "I and a woman with darkened cheeks will be like these two on the Day of Resurrection," joining his index and middle fingers together, "a woman of rank and beauty who was widowed from her husband and kept herself devoted to her orphans until they left home or died," its isnad is daif. It was narrated by Abu Dawud (5149), Ahmad (24006, 24008), and Bukhari in Adab al-Mufrad (141), all of them by way of Nahhas bin Qahm, from Shaddad Abu Ammar, from Awf bin Malik, and he related it. Nahhas bin Qahm is daif, and Shaddad Abu Ammar did not hear from Awf bin Malik, as Salih Jazara said.
