The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "There is no sin more deserving that Allah hasten its punishment upon its doer in this world, in addition to what is stored up for him in the Hereafter, than transgression and severing the ties of kinship."
قال رسول الله ﷺ: ما من ذنب أجدر أن يعجل الله لصاحبه العقوبة في الدنيا مع ما يدخر له في الآخرة: من البغي وقطيعة الرحم.
Reported by Abu Dawud (4902), Tirmidhi (2679), Ibn Majah (4211), Ahmad (20374), and Bukhari in Adab al-Mufrad (29), all of them through Uyayna bin Abdul-Rahman bin Jawshan Ghatafani, from his father, from Abu Bakra, who mentioned it.Its chain of transmission is hasan because of Uyayna bin Abdul-Rahman bin Jawshan Ghatafani. Ibn Saad and Nasai deemed him trustworthy, while Ibn Main and Ahmad said, "There is no harm in him."As for his father, Abdul-Rahman bin Jawshan, he was the son-in-law of Abu Bakra through his daughter. Ibn Saad and Abu Zura said of him, "Trustworthy," while Ahmad said, "He is not well known."
