The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever wishes for his life to be extended and his provision to be increased, let him be dutiful to his parents and maintain ties with his relatives."
قال رسول الله ﷺ: من أحب أن يمد له في عمره، وأن يزاد له في رزقه، فليبر والديه، وليصل رحمه.
Ahmad (13401), Ibn Abu Dunya in Makarim al-Akhlaq (244), and Bayhaqi in Shuab (7471) all narrated it through the route of Hazm bin Abu Hazm, from Maymun bin Siyah, who said, "I heard Anas bin Malik," and he mentioned it. Its chain is hasan because of Maymun bin Siyah, for his hadith is hasan so long as nothing shows otherwise. The hadith is found in the Sahih through another route from Anas, without his saying, "let him honor his parents."
