I served the Prophet ﷺ for ten years, and he never said to me, "Uff," nor, "Why did you do that?" nor, "Why didn't you do that?"
خدمت النبي ﷺ عشر سنين، فما قال لي: أف، ولا: لم صنعت؟ ولا: ألا صنعت.
Bukhari narrated it in Al-Adab (6038), and Muslim in Al-Fadail (2309), both through the route of Salam bin Miskin, from Thabit Bunani, from Anas, who mentioned it.
