Abu Yaala (5600) narrated it, as did Tabarani in Mujam al-Kabir (12/451) and in Awsat (5/469), through several routes, from Saeed bin Abu Maryam, who said, Nafi bin Umar Jumahi told us, from Amr bin Dinar, from Ibn Umar, and he related it similarly. Sarraj also narrated it by this route in his Musnad (17), and its chain is sahih.Tabarani said in Awsat, "No one narrated this hadith from Amr bin Dinar except Nafi bin Umar, and Ibn Abu Maryam alone transmitted it."I say, Nafi bin Umar is Jumahi Makki, a trustworthy and firmly reliable narrator. And Ibn Abu Maryam is Saeed bin Hakam bin Muhammad bin Salim bin Abu Maryam Jumahi by clientage, Abu Muhammad Misri, also trustworthy and firmly reliable. Both of them are among the narrators found in the six major collections.Haythami said in Majma (1/203), "Abu Yaala narrated it, as did Tabarani in Kabir and Awsat, and its narrators are trustworthy, from the people whose narrations are found in the sahih collections."
