The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The slave is entitled to his food and clothing, and he shall not be burdened with work beyond what he can bear."
عن رسول الله ﷺ أنه قال: للمملوك طعامه وكسوته، ولا يكلف من العمل إلا ما يطيق.
Muslim narrated it in "Oaths and Vows" (1662:41) from Abu Tahir Ahmad bin Amr bin Sarh, who said, Ibn Wahb informed us, Amr bin Harith informed us, that Bukayr bin Ashaj told him, from Ajlan, the freed slave of Fatimah, from Abu Hurairah, who mentioned it.
