The Prophet ﷺ said, "A man set out to visit a brother of his in another village, and Allah stationed an angel on his path to wait for him. When the man came upon him, the angel asked, 'Where are you headed?'The man replied, 'I am going to visit a brother of mine in this village.'The angel asked, 'Do you have some favor from him that you wish to maintain?'He said, 'No, I only love him for the sake of Allah .'The angel said, 'Then I am a messenger from Allah to you, sent to tell you that Allah has loved you just as you have loved him for His sake.'"
Muslim narrated it in the Book of Righteousness and Maintaining Ties (2567), from Abdul-Ala bin Hammad, who said, Hammad bin Salama narrated to us, from Thabit, from Abu Rafi, from Abu Hurairah, and he mentioned it.His saying, "you set it right," means one undertakes to correct it and rises to do so for that reason.
