Jabir bin Abdullah reported,

We were traveling with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ until we stopped at a wide valley. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ went to relieve himself, and I followed him with a small water vessel. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ looked around but did not see anything to conceal himself behind. Then he noticed two trees at the edge of the valley. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ went over to one of them, took hold of one of its branches, and said, "Come along with me by the permission of Allah." The tree followed him like a camel led by its nose-rein, obediently submitting to its handler, until he reached the other tree. He took hold of one of its branches and said, "Come along with me by the permission of Allah." That tree followed him in the same way. When he was at the midpoint between the two spots they had stood, he brought the two trees together and said, "Join together over me by the permission of Allah," and they joined together... and the rest of the hadith.
