The Messenger of Allah ﷺ named me Yusuf, sat me on his lap, and wiped his hand over my head.
سماني رسول الله ﷺ يوسف، وأقعدني على حجره، ومسح على رأسي.
Bukhari reported it in Adab al-Mufrad (367), Ahmad (16402, 23836, 23837), and Tabarani in Al-Kabir (22/285), all of them by way of Yahya bin Abu Haytham, who said, "I heard Yusuf bin Abdullah bin Salam say," and he then mentioned it. Its chain of transmission is sahih. Ibn Hajar also graded it sahih in Fath al-Bari (10/578).
