Jareer bin Abdullah reported,
The Prophet ﷺ said, "Whoever does not show mercy will not be shown mercy."In another wording, "Whoever does not show mercy to people, Allah will not show mercy to him."

Zia-ur-Rahman Azami
Bukhari narrated it in al-Adab (6013), and Muslim in al-Fadail (2319), both through Amash, from Zayd bin Wahb, from Jareer bin Abdullah, and he related it. Muslim paired Abu Zabyan with Zayd. The first wording is Bukhari's, and the second is Muslim's.
