Reported by Ahmad (18741), Ibn Abu Asim in Al-Ahad wal-Mathani (2118), and Bukhari in Adab al-Mufrad (231), all of them from the hadith of Abdul-Jabbar bin Abbas, from Adi bin Thabit, from Abdullah bin Yazid, who narrated it.Its chain of transmission is hasan because of Abdul-Jabbar bin Abbas Hamdani, for his hadith is hasan.
