The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Ayesha, Allah is gentle and loves gentleness. He grants through gentleness what He does not grant through harshness, and what He does not grant through anything else."
أن رسول الله ﷺ قال: يا عائشة، إن الله رفيق يحب الرفق، ويعطي على الرفق ما لا يعطي على العنف، وما لا يعطي على ما سواه.
Muslim narrated it in the Book of Righteousness and Kinship Ties (2593), from Harmala bin Yahya Tujibi, Abdullah bin Wahb told us, Haywa informed me, Ibn Hadi told me, from Abu Bakr bin Hazm, from Amrah, meaning the daughter of Abdul-Rahman, from Ayesha, and he mentioned it.
