Jabir bin Abdullah reported,

Muaz bin Jabal used to pray with the Prophet ﷺ, then go to his own people and lead them in prayer. One night he recited Baqarah with them. A man cut his prayer short and prayed briefly, and when word of this reached Muaz, he said, "He is a hypocrite."The man heard about this, so he went to the Prophet ﷺ and said, "Messenger of Allah, we are people who work with our hands and irrigate with our camels. Muaz led us in prayer last night and recited Baqarah, so I shortened my prayer, and then he claimed that I am a hypocrite."The Prophet ﷺ said, "Muaz, are you a cause of trial to people?" He said it three times. "Recite 'By the sun and its brightness' [Shams 91:1] and 'Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High' [Ala 87:1] and the like of them."
