The Prophet ﷺ said, "I and the one who cares for an orphan will be in Paradise like this," and he gestured with his two fingers, the index and the middle.
عن النبي ﷺ قال: أنا وكافل اليتيم في الجنة هكذا وقال بأصبعيه السبابة والوسطى.
Bukhari narrated it in al-Adab (6005), from Abdullah bin Abdul-Wahhab, who said, Abdul-Aziz bin Abu Hazim narrated to me, who said, my father narrated to me, who said, I heard Sahl bin Saad, and he mentioned it.As for His saying, "or a poor person in distress" [Balad 90:16], this refers to the destitute person clinging to the dust, cast out in the road, who has no house and no shelter, and nothing to protect him from the sun and the swirling dust.
