Bukhari narrated it in Tawhid (6504) and Muslim in Fitan and the Signs of the Hour (2951:134), both through the route of Shubah, who said, I heard Qatada and Abu Tayyah narrating that they had heard Anas narrating, and he mentioned it.Muslim added in his narration, "Shubah joined his two fingers together, the index and middle fingers, demonstrating it," and in another narration he said, "Shubah said, I heard Qatada saying in his stories, 'like the superiority of one over the other,' but I do not know whether he mentioned that from Anas, or whether Qatada said it himself."
