I said, "Messenger of Allah, when I see you my soul is at peace and my eyes find delight, so tell me about everything."He said, "Everything was created from water."I said, "Tell me of a deed which, if I take to it, will admit me into Paradise."He said, "Spread the greeting of peace, feed others, maintain ties of kinship, and stand in prayer at night while people sleep, then enter Paradise in peace."
Ahmad (7932) narrated it, and Ibn Hibban (508) and Hakim (4/160) graded it sahih, all of them through the route of Hammam bin Yahya, from Qatada, from Abu Maymuna, from Abu Hurairah, who related it. Hakim said, "This is a hadith with a sahih chain of transmission." And it is as he said.
