I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, "I have several names. I am Muhammad, I am Ahmad, I am al-Mahi, the one through whom Allah erases disbelief, I am al-Hashir, the one at whose feet people will be gathered, and I am al-Aqib."
Bukhari related it in tafsir (4896), and Muslim in the virtues (2354, 125), both of them by way of Shuayb, from Zuhri, who said, "Muhammad bin Jubayr bin Mutim informed me, from his father," and he related it.The wording given is Bukhari's, for Muslim did not present his own wording for this chain, but instead referred back to the hadith before it.
