The Prophet ﷺ said, "In Paradise there is a tree so vast that a rider could travel in its shade for a hundred years without crossing it."
عن النبي ﷺ قال: إن في الجنة لشجرة يسير الراكب في ظلها مائة عام لا يقطعها.
Bukhari narrated it in the chapter on the Beginning of Creation (3251), from Rawh bin Abdul-Mumin, who said, Yazid bin Zuray narrated to us, who said, Saeed narrated to us, from Qatada, who said, Anas bin Malik narrated to us, and he mentioned it.As for what is narrated from Abu Hurairah, who said, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "There is no tree in Paradise except that its trunk is made of gold," this is rejected. Tirmidhi (2525), Abu Yaala (6195), and Ibn Hibban (7410) all narrated it through the route of Abu Saeed Ashaj, who said, Ziyad bin Hasan bin Furat Qazzaz narrated to us, from his father, from his grandfather, from Abu Hazim, from Abu Hurairah, and he mentioned it.His statement, "except that its trunk is made of gold," is rejected. Ziyad bin Hasan bin Furat alone narrated it, and he narrates from his father, and regarding both of them Abu Hatim said, "His hadith is rejected.""And poured-out water" [Waqiah 56:31] comes from sakaba al-maa, meaning "to pour," that is, the rivers of Paradise flow continuously with force, without a channel, without ever ceasing.As for His saying, "And abundant fruit" [Waqiah 56:32], "neither limited nor forbidden" [Waqiah 56:33], this means that in Paradise there are many varied fruits, never running out at any time, but rather always present at every moment, within reach of whoever seeks them, so that they eat them with complete ease and comfort and enjoy them fully.
