The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "I and the Hour have been sent like this." Shuba placed his index finger and middle finger side by side to demonstrate it.
أن رسول الله ﷺ قال: بعثت أنا والساعة هكذا. وقرن شعبة بين إصبعيه المسبحة والوسطى يحكيه.
Bukhari narrated it in the Book of Softening of the Hearts (6504), and Muslim in the Book of Tribulations and Signs of the Hour (2951:134), both of them via Shuba, from Qatada and Abu Tayah, from Anas, and he related it. The wording is Muslim's, and Bukhari did not mention Shuba's action.
