The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The house in the heavens is called ad-Durah. It resembles the structure of this Sacred House, and if it were to fall, it would fall directly upon it. Seventy thousand angels enter it every day, never to return to it again."
قال رسول الله ﷺ: البيت الذي في السماء يقال له: الضراح، وهو مثل بناء هذا البيت الحرام، ولو سقط لسقط عليه، يدخله كل يوم سبعون ألف ملك لا يعودون فيه أبدا.
Azraqi related it in Akhbar Makkah (1/49) from his grandfather, from Saeed bin Salim, who said, "Ibn Jurayj informed me, from Safwan bin Salim, from Kurayb, the freed slave of Ibn Abbas, from Ibn Abbas," and he mentioned it. Saeed bin Salim is Qaddah, about whom there is disagreement, though his hadith is hasan.As for what has been narrated from Abu Hurairah, from the Prophet ﷺ, who said, "In heaven there is a house called the Frequented House, directly above the Kaaba. And in the fourth heaven there is a river called the River of Life, which Jibreel enters every day, immersing himself in it once. Then he comes out and shakes himself, and seventy thousand drops fall from him. From each drop Allah creates an angel. They are commanded to go to the Frequented House and pray in it, and they do so. Then they leave and never return to it again. One of them is placed in charge of them and commanded to make them stand at a station in heaven where they glorify Allah until the Hour comes." This is very daif.Ibn Abu Hatim related it, saying, "My father narrated to us, Hisham bin Ammar narrated to us, Walid bin Muslim narrated to us, Rawh bin Jinah narrated to us, from Zuhri, from Saeed bin Musayab, from Abu Hurairah," and he mentioned it.Ibn Kathir said in his Tafsir (7/427), "This is a very unusual hadith. Rawh bin Junada is the only one who narrated it. He is the Qurashi, the freedman of the Umayyads, Abu Saad of Damascus. A group of scholars of hadith have rejected this hadith from him, among them Juzjani, Aqeeli, and Hakim Abu Abdullah Nisaburi, and others. Hakim said, 'It has no basis, neither from the hadith of Abu Hurairah, nor Saeed, nor Zuhri.'"Ibn Adi said in Kamil (4/1004), "I heard Ibn Hammad say, Saadi said, 'Rawh bin Jinah mentioned from Zuhri a hadith with two or more narrators missing from its chain, concerning the Frequented House.'" Then he related it through the route of Hisham bin Ammar, [who said] Walid bin Muslim narrated to us, Abu Saad narrated to us, Rawh bin Jinah narrated to us with his chain, in a similar fashion. Then he said, "This hadith is known only through Rawh bin Jinah, from Zuhri."
