The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Do not insult my companions. Do not insult my companions. By the One in whose hand my soul rests, if one of you were to spend the equivalent of Mount Uhud in gold, it would not equal a handful of theirs, nor even half of it."
قال رسول الله ﷺ: لا تسبوا أصحابي، لا تسبوا أصحابي، فوالذي نفسي بيده، لو أن أحدكم أنفق مثل أحد ذهبا ما أدرك مد أحدهم ولا نصيفه.
Muslim narrated it in the Book of the Virtues of the Companions (2540) through several routes from Abu Muawiya, from Amash, from Abu Salih, from Abu Hurairah, who said, and then he mentioned it.
