Abdullah bin Masud reported,

We set out with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ in the time of Hudaybiya. They mentioned that they camped on soft sandy ground, meaning by dahas, sand.The Messenger of Allah ﷺ asked, "Who will keep watch for us?"Bilal said, "I will."The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Then you will fall asleep."They slept until the sun rose. The people woke up, among them so-and-so and so-and-so, and Umar was among them. We said, "Raise your voices," meaning, speak up. So the Prophet ﷺ woke and said, "Do as you used to do."So we did, and he said, "Do the same for anyone who sleeps or forgets."The she-camel of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ had wandered off, and he searched for her. I found that her rope had caught on a tree, so I brought her to the Prophet ﷺ and he mounted, pleased. Whenever revelation came down upon the Prophet ﷺ it weighed heavily on him, and we could recognize it in him. He withdrew and moved apart behind us, and he began to cover his head with his garment, and it pressed hard upon him, until we knew that something had been revealed to him. Then he came to us and told us that this had been revealed to him, "Indeed, We have granted you a clear victory" [Fath 48:1].

عن عبد الله بن مسعود قال

أقبلنا مع رسول الله ﷺ زمن الحديبية، فذكروا أنهم نزلوا دهاسا من الأرض- يعني بالدهاس: الرمل- فقال رسول الله ﷺ: من يكلونا؟ فقال بلال: أنا، فقال رسول الله ﷺ: إذا تنم، قال: فناموا حتى طلعت الشمس، فاستيقظ الناس، فيهم فلان وفلان، وفيهم عمر، قال: فقلنا: اهضبوا- يعني تكلموا قال: فاستيقظ النبي ﷺ، فقال: افعلوا كما كنتم تفعلون، قال: ففعلنا قال: وقال: كذلك فافعلوا، لمن نام أو نسي، قال: وضلت ناقة رسول الله ﷺ فطلبها، فوجدت حبلها قد تعلق بشجرة، فجئت بها إلى النبي ﷺ فركب مسرورا، وكان النبي ﷺ، وإذا نزل عليه الوحي اشتد ذلك عليه، وعرفنا ذاك فيه، قال: فتنحى منتبذا خلفنا، قال: فجعل يغطي رأسه بثوبه، ويشتد ذلك عليه، حتى عرفنا أنه قد أنزل عليه، فأتانا، فأخبرنا أنه قد أنزل عليه: {إنا فتحنا لك فتحا مبينا}
