He heard the Prophet ﷺ say, "One who severs ties of kinship will not enter Paradise."
أنه سمع النبي ﷺ يقول: لا يدخل الجنة قاطع.
Bukhari narrated it in al-Adab (5984) and Muslim in al-Birr wal-Silah wal-Adab (2556), both by way of Ibn Shihab Zuhri, from Muhammad bin Jubayr bin Mutim, who said that Jubayr bin Mutim informed him, and he mentioned it. His saying, "one who severs," means one who severs family ties.
