I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, "In Paradise there is a sea of milk, a sea of water, a sea of honey, and a sea of wine, and the rivers branch out from them afterward."
سمعت رسول الله ﷺ يقول: في الجنة بحر اللبن، وبحر الماء، وبحر العسل، وبحر الخمر، ثم تنشق الأنهار منها بعد.
Tirmidhi (2571) and Ahmad (20052) both narrated it through Yazid bin Harun, who said, "Jareeri informed us, from Hakeem bin Muawiya, from his father," and he related it. Jareeri is Saeed bin Iyas, who had become confused in his memory later in life, and Yazid bin Harun heard from him after this confusion set in. However, Ibn Hibban (7409) narrated it through Khalid bin Abdullah Tahhan, from Jareeri, with similar wording.Bukhari included narrations from Khalid Tahhan through Jareeri, which indicates that Bukhari held the view that Tahhan heard from Jareeri before his confusion set in, though some scholars hesitated to affirm definitively whether he heard from him before or after this confusion. Its chain of transmission is hasan because of Hakeem bin Muawiya, whose hadith is hasan.
