The Messenger of Allah ﷺ was neither obscene nor given to obscenity, nor did he shout in the marketplaces. He did not repay evil with evil, but instead he pardoned and overlooked.
لم يكن رسول الله ﷺ فاحشا ولا متفحشا، ولا صخابا في الأسواق، ولا يجزي بالسيئة السيئة، ولكن يعفو ويصفح.
Tirmidhi narrated it in his Sunan (2016), and in Shamail (347), Ahmad (25417), and Ibn Hibban (6443), all of them through various chains from Abu Ishaq, who said, I heard Abu Abdullah Jadali (whose name was Abd bin Abd), from Ayesha, who said, and he mentioned it. Its chain is sahih. Tirmidhi said, "This is a hasan sahih hadith."
