The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "I have been given five things that no one was given before me. Every prophet was sent only to his own people, but I have been sent to every red and black. The spoils of war have been made lawful for me, though they were not lawful for anyone before me. The earth has been made for me a place of pure cleansing and a place of prayer, so whenever the time of prayer comes upon a man, he may pray wherever he is. I have been aided through awe striking my enemies from a month's distance away. And I have been granted the power of intercession."
Bukhari related it in the book of tayammum (335), and Muslim in the book of mosques (521), both from the route of Hushaym, who said, Sayyar informed us, Yazid the jurist narrated to us, from Jabir bin Abdullah al-Ansari, who said, and he mentioned it. The wording is Muslim's. There are many hadiths on this same subject, and they are mentioned in the book of jihad and in the book of the biography.
