Bazzar narrated it in Kashf Astar (249), Tabarani in Awsat (2093), and Abu Yaala (4765), all of them through the route of Sharik, from Miqdam bin Shurayh, from his father, from Ayesha, and he mentioned it.This chain is daif because of Sharik, who is Ibn Abdullah the judge, for he had poor memory. However, it is strengthened by what is reported from Ayesha as a mawquf narration, since the two chains diverge, and this is what Ahmad (35389), Ishaq bin Rahawayh (1393), Ibn Khuzayma (251), Ibn Hibban (1192), and Bayhaqi narrated, all of them through the route of Yazid Rishk, from Muadha, who said, I asked Ayesha about the ghusl from janaba, and she said, "Water is not made impure by anything. I used to perform ghusl, myself and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, from a single vessel, and he would begin by washing his hands."This strengthens what Sharik the judge narrated, because the origin of it is a marfu narration, and Ayesha at one time reported it as marfu and at another time as mawquf.
