The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Allah does not look at your appearances or your wealth, but He looks at your hearts and your deeds."
قال رسول الله ﷺ: إن الله لا ينظر إلى صوركم وأموالكم، ولكن ينظر إلى قلوبكم وأعمالكم.
Muslim narrated it in al-Birr wa al-Sila (2564:34) from Amr Naqid, who said, Kathir bin Hisham told us, Jafar bin Barqan told us, from Yazid bin Asam, from Abu Hurairah, who related it.His saying, "except one who believes and does righteous deeds, for such there will be double reward for what they did, and they will be safe in lofty dwellings" [Saba 34:37].
