The Messenger of Allah ﷺ came out and met Abu Talha, who rose toward him and greeted him, saying, "May my father and mother be ransomed for you, Messenger of Allah. I see joy in your face."He replied, "Yes. Jibreel just came to me and said, 'Muhammad, whoever sends blessings upon you once, Allah records ten good deeds for him because of it, erases ten bad deeds from him, and raises him ten degrees.'"Ibn Habib, one of the narrators of the hadith, said, "I only know that he said, 'And the angels send blessings upon him ten times.'"
Baghawi narrated it in Al-Jadiyat (3058) - and from his route Ibn Bashran in his Amali (1192), and Khatib in Talkhis al-Mutashabih (250) - from Muhammad bin Habib Jarudi, who said, "Abdul-Aziz bin Abu Hazim narrated to us, from his father, from Sahl bin Saad," and he mentioned it. Its chain is hasan because of Muhammad bin Habib Jarudi, for he is truthful, as Khatib said in Tarikh Baghdad (2772). The hadiths on this subject are very numerous, and they are mentioned in the Book of Prayer and the Book of Supplications and Remembrances.
