Sahl bin Saad reported,

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ came out and met Abu Talha, who rose toward him and greeted him, saying, "May my father and mother be ransomed for you, Messenger of Allah. I see joy in your face."He replied, "Yes. Jibreel just came to me and said, 'Muhammad, whoever sends blessings upon you once, Allah تبارك وتعالى records ten good deeds for him because of it, erases ten bad deeds from him, and raises him ten degrees.'"Ibn Habib, one of the narrators of the hadith, said, "I only know that he said, 'And the angels send blessings upon him ten times.'"
