"And to those with whom you have made a pact, give them their share" [Nisa 4:33]. A man used to enter into a pact of alliance with another man though there was no kinship between them, and each would inherit from the other. Surah Anfal abrogated this, for Allah Most High said, "And blood relatives are nearer to one another" [Anfal 8:75].
{والذين عقدت أيمانكم فءاتوهم نصيبهم}[سورة النساء: ٣٣] كان الرجل يحالف الرجل ليس بينهما نسب، فيرث أحدهما الآخر، فنسخ ذلك الأنفال. قال تعالى: {وأولوا الأرحام بعضهم أولى ببعض}[الأنفال: ٧٥].
Abu Dawud (2921) narrated it from Ahmad bin Muhammad bin Thabit, who said, "Ali bin Husayn narrated to me," from his father, from Yazid Nahwi, from Ikrima, from Ibn Abbas, and he related it.Its isnad is hasan due to the discussion surrounding Ali bin Husayn bin Waqid Marwazi, for there is disagreement about him, though his hadith is hasan when nothing objectionable is brought against him.
