The Prophet ﷺ said, "There is no believer except that I am closer to him than anyone else, both in this world and in the Hereafter. Recite, if you wish, 'The Prophet is closer to the believers than their own selves' [Ahzab 33:6]. So whichever believer leaves behind wealth, let his paternal relatives inherit it, whoever they may be. But whoever leaves behind a debt or dependents in need, let him come to me, for I am his guardian."
Bukhari narrated it in the tafsir (4781), from Ibrahim bin Munzir, who said, Muhammad bin Fulayh narrated to us, who said, my father narrated to me, from Hilal bin Ali, from Abdul-Rahman bin Abu Amra, from Abu Hurairah, who mentioned it.
