The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "There is no prophet among the prophets who was not given signs through which people came to believe in him. What I have been given is a revelation that Allah revealed to me, and I hope to have the most followers among them on the Day of Resurrection."
أن رسول الله ﷺ قال: ما من الأنبياء من نبي إلا قد أعطي من الآيات ما مثله آمن عليه البشر، وإنما كان الذي أوتيت وحيا أوحى الله إلي، فأرجو أن أكون أكثرهم تابعا يوم القيامة.
Bukhari narrated it in the Virtues of the Quran (4981), and Muslim in Faith (152), both of them through Layth, who said, Saeed bin Abu Saeed Maqburi narrated to us, from his father, from Abu Hurairah, who mentioned it. The wording given is Muslim's, and Bukhari's wording is similar.
