Abu Umama reported,

I was beneath the mount of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ on the day of the Conquest, and he spoke beautiful and noble words. Among what he said was, "Whoever from the People of the two Scriptures embraces Islam shall have his reward twice over, and he shall have what we have and bear what we bear. And whoever from the polytheists embraces Islam shall have his reward, and he shall have what we have and bear what we bear."
