The Prophet ﷺ was asked, "Which of the two terms did Musa complete?"He replied, "The fuller and more righteous of the two."
أن النبي ﷺ سئل: أي الأجلين قضى موسي؟ قال: أتمهما وأبرهما.
Bazzar narrated it in Kashf Astar (2245) from Ahmad bin Abban Qurashi, who said, Sufyan, meaning Ibn Uyayna, narrated to us, Ibrahim bin Ayan narrated to us from Hakam bin Abban, from Ikrima, from Ibn Abbas, and he related it.Bazzar said, "We do not know of it being attributed to Ibn Abbas as a marfu narration except through this route."I say, its isnad is hasan on account of Hakam bin Abban, for there is disagreement about him, though his hadith is hasan.
