An effeminate man used to come in to visit the wives of the Prophet ﷺ, and they considered him among those without desire for women. One day the Prophet ﷺ came in while this man was with one of his wives, describing a woman. He was saying, "When she comes forward, she comes with four folds, and when she turns away, she turns with eight."The Prophet ﷺ said, "I see that this man is aware of what is here. He must not enter upon you again."She said, So they kept him out from then on.
كان يدخل على أزواج النبي ﷺ مخنث، فكانوا يعدونه من غير أولي الإربة. قال: فدخل النبي ﷺ يوما وهو عندك بعض نسائه وهو ينعت امرأة، قال: إذا أقبلت أقبلت بأربع، وإذا أدبرت أدبرت بثمان. فقال النبي ﷺ: لا أرى هذا يعرف ما ههنا، لا يدخلن عليكن قالت فحجبوه.
Muslim reported it in the Book of Greetings (2181) from Abd bin Humayd, who said, Abdul-Razzaq informed us, from Mamar, from Zuhri, from Urwa, from Ayesha, who said, and then he mentioned it.Abu Dawud reported it (4110) through another route, from Uzai, from Zuhri, with the same chain, and he added in it, "It was said, 'O Messenger of Allah, if that is the case he will die of hunger.' So he was permitted to enter twice every week, ask for what he needed, and then leave." Its chain of transmission is sahih.Those who were mentioned in this noble verse among the mahrams and others were mentioned only because of how often they would enter upon these women. Paternal and maternal uncles were not mentioned in it, even though they too are mahrams, because they generally live elsewhere and are not compelled to enter upon these women frequently.And His saying, "And turn to Allah in repentance, all of you, O believers, that you might succeed" [Nur 24:31]
