Ayesha reported,

The Prophet ﷺ said, "The frog used to put out the fire from Ibrahim, while the gecko used to blow on it." So he forbade killing the former and commanded killing the latter.

أن النبي ﷺ: قال: كانت الضفدع تطفئ النار عن إبراهيم، وكان الوزغ ينفخ فيه، فنهى عن قتل هذا، وأمر بقتل هذا.
