I said, "Messenger of Allah, when I see you my soul is at ease and my eyes are comforted. So tell me about everything."He said, "Everything was created from water."I said, "Tell me of a matter which, if I act upon it, will admit me into Paradise."He said, "Spread the greeting of peace, feed others, maintain ties of kinship, and stand in prayer at night while people are asleep. Then enter Paradise in peace."
Ahmad (7932) narrated it, and Ibn Hibban (508) and Hakim (4/160) graded it sahih, all of them by way of Hammam bin Yahya, from Qatada, from Abu Maymuna, from Abu Hurairah, who mentioned it. Hakim said, "This is a hadith sahih in its isnad." Haythami said in Majma(5/16), "Ahmad narrated it, and its narrators are the narrators of the Sahih, except for Abu Maymuna, and he is trustworthy."
