The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "It is enough of a lie for a man to narrate everything he hears."
قال رسول الله ﷺ: كفى بالمرء كذبا أن يحدث بكل ما سمع.
Muslim narrated it in the introduction (5) from Abu Bakr bin Abu Shayba, who said, Ali bin Hafs narrated to us, who said, Shuba narrated to us, from Khubayb bin Abdul-Rahman, from Hafs bin Asim, from Abu Hurairah, who mentioned it.It has been established as sahih from Umar bin Khattab that he said, "It is enough falsehood for a man that he reports everything he hears."On this subject there are reports from the early generations, a good many of which Imam Muslim included in the introduction to his Sahih.
