The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The believers will be saved from the Fire, then they will be detained on a bridge between Paradise and the Fire, where they will settle among themselves the wrongs they had committed against one another in the world. Once they have been refined and purified, they will be permitted to enter Paradise. By the One in whose hand is the soul of Muhammad, each one of them will know his way to his dwelling in Paradise better than he knew his way to his dwelling in this world."
Bukhari narrated it in the book of Riqaq (6535), from Salit bin Muhammad, who said, Yazid bin Zuray narrated to us, regarding "and We will remove whatever bitterness is in their hearts" [Hijr 15:47], he said, Saeed narrated to us, from Qatada, from Abu Mutawakkil Naji, that Abu Saeed said, and he mentioned it.
