Abu Hurairah reported,
The Prophet ﷺ, regarding the saying of Allah 
, "and the recitation of dawn, indeed the recitation of dawn is ever witnessed" [Isra 17:78], said, "The angels of the night and the angels of the day witness it."

عن النبي ﷺ في قوله عز وجل: {وقرءان الفجر إن قرءان الفجر كان مشهودا} قال: تشهد ملائكة الليل وملائكة النهار.
Tirmidhi (3135), Ibn Majah (670), and Ahmad (10133) all reported it through the route of Amash, from Abu Salih, from Abu Hurairah, who related it.Ibn Khuzayma (1474) and Hakim (1/210-211) reported it through Amash by the same route, joining Abu Saeed together with Abu Hurairah. Its isnad is sahih. Tirmidhi said, "This is a hasan sahih hadith." Hakim said, "This is a sahih hadith according to the criterion of the two Shaykhs, though they did not include it."Ahmad and Ibn Majah also reported it through the route of Amash, from Ibrahim, from Ibn Masud, from the Prophet ﷺ. Ibrahim here is Ibn Yazid bin Qays Nakhai, who did not hear from any of the companions and would frequently transmit without a direct link.
