What prevents me from narrating to you many hadith is that the Prophet ﷺ said, "Whoever deliberately lies about me, let him take his seat in the Fire."
إنه ليمنعني أن أحدثكم حديثا كثيرا أن النبي ﷺ قال: من تعمد علي كذبا فليتبوأ مقعده من النار.
Bukhari narrated it in "Knowledge" (108), Abu Muamar told us, he said, Abdul-Warith narrated to us, from Abdul-Aziz, Anas said.Muslim also narrated it in the Introduction (2) through another route from Anas.As for what appears in some narrations of this hadith from Anas with the addition, "Whoever lies about me in narrating a hadith, let him take his seat in the Fire," the addition of the phrase "in narrating a hadith" in this hadith is daif.Bazzar narrated it (212), Ahmad bin Amr bin Ubayda Qasri told us, Bakr bin Bakkar narrated to us, Aidh bin Shurayh narrated to us, from Anas, and he mentioned it.Bazzar said, "We do not know of anyone who said 'in narrating a hadith' except Aidh bin Shurayh."I say, Aidh bin Shurayh is daif, and likewise the narrator from him, so their unique narration cannot be accepted.
