The Prophet ﷺ said, "A group of people will be brought out of the Fire after it has scorched them, leaving dark marks on their skin, and they will enter Paradise. The people of Paradise will call them the Jahannamiyyun."
عن النبي ﷺ قال: يخرج قوم من النار بعد ما متهم منها سفع، فيدخلون الجنة، فيسميهم أهل الجنة الجهنميين.
Bukhari narrated it in the Book of Riqaq (6559), from Hudba bin Khalid, who said, Hammam narrated to us, from Qatada, who said, Anas bin Malik narrated to us, and he related it. Bukhari also narrated it (7450) through another route from Qatada with the wording, "Some people will certainly be touched by scorching marks from the Fire, as punishment for sins they had committed. Then Allah will admit them into Paradise by the grace of His mercy, and they will be called the people of Hell."If the exception refers to Saeed, then its meaning is the duration of their stay in the Fire before entering Paradise, on account of the sins they had committed.
