Jareer reported,

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The Muhajirun and the Ansar are allies of one another in this world and the Hereafter. The Tulaqa of Quraysh and the Utaqa of Thakeef are allies of one another until the Day of Resurrection."

Zia-ur-Rahman Azami

Narrated by Ahmad (19215) and Tabarani in al-Kabir (2/356-357), and Ibn Hibban graded it sahih (7260), all of them through the route of Asim bin Abu Najud, from Abu Waail, from Jareer, who mentioned it. Its chain of transmission is hasan due to the discussion surrounding Asim bin Abu Najud, though his hadith is hasan.His statement, "But those who believed and did not emigrate, you have no guardianship over them until they emigrate" [Anfal 8:72], this verse indicates the obligation of emigration during the time of the Prophet ﷺ before the conquest of Makkah. As for after the conquest of Makkah, it has been established in a sahih hadith that he, ﷺ, said, "There is no emigration after the conquest."Likewise, emigration is not obligatory upon one who lives among the polytheists and disbelievers, so long as he has the freedom to practice his religion and to openly display the rites of Islam. This is indicated by the statement of Ayesha رضي الله عنها .
