The Prophet ﷺ said, "Goodness is tied to the forelocks of horses until the Day of Resurrection, namely reward and spoils of war."
أن النبي ﷺ قال: الخيل معقود في نواصيها الخير إلى يوم القيامة: الأجر والمغنم.
Bukhari narrated it in the Book of Jihad and Expeditions (2852), and Muslim in the Book of Leadership (1873), both from the hadith of Zakariya, from Amir, who said, Urwa Bariqi narrated to us, and he mentioned it.This hadith contains a clear indication that horses will remain indispensable for warfare until the Day of Judgment, and even if there comes a period when they are not needed, the need for them will return before the Day of Judgment. This is confirmed by what is stated in Sahih Bukhari.
