He asked Ibn Abbas, "Is there a sajdah in Surah Sad?"Ibn Abbas replied, "Yes." Then he recited, "And We gave him Ishaq and Yaqub" up to His words, "so follow their guidance" [Anam 6:84–90], and then he said, "He is one of them."
أنه سأل ابن عباس: أفي (ص) سجدة؟ فقال: نعم، ثم تلا: {ووهبنا له إسحق ويعقوب} إلى قوله {فبهدىهم اقتده} [سورة الأنعام: ٨٤-٩٠] ثم قال: هو منهم.
Bukhari narrated it in the tafsir (4632) from Ibrahim bin Musa, who reported to us from Hisham, that Ibn Jurayj informed them, saying, Sulayman Ahwal informed me, from Mujahid, and he related it.Then Bukhari said, Yazid bin Harun, Muhammad bin Ubayd, and Sahl bin Yusuf added, from Awwam, from Mujahid, "I said to Ibn Abbas," and he said, "Your prophet ﷺ is among those who were commanded to be followed."
