Ayesha reported,

Anyone who tells you that Muhammad ﷺ concealed something of what Allah revealed to him has lied, for Allah says, "Messenger, proclaim what has been sent down to you from your Lord" [Maidah 5:67].In another narration she added, "Had Muhammad ﷺ concealed anything of what was revealed to him, he would have concealed this verse, 'And when you said to the one whom Allah had favored and whom you had favored, Keep your wife and be mindful of Allah, while you hid within yourself what Allah was going to bring to light, and you feared the people when it is Allah whom you should rightly fear. So when Zayd had no further need of her, We gave her to you in marriage, so that there would be no restriction upon the believers concerning the wives of their adopted sons, once they have no further need of them. And the command of Allah was carried out.'" [Surah Ahzab 33:37]
