Abu Saeed Khudri reported,

The Prophet ﷺ said, "Allah will question the servant on the Day of Resurrection, even asking him, 'My servant, you saw something wrong and did not denounce it.' When Allah inspires the servant with his answer, he will say, 'My Lord, I placed my trust in You and feared the people.'"

عن النبي ﷺ قال: إن الله ليسأل العبد يوم القيامة، حتى إنه ليسأله يقول: أي عبدي، رأيت منكرا فلم تنكره، فإذا لقي الله عبدا حجته قال: يا رب وثقت بك، وخفت الناس.
