The Messenger of Allah ﷺ bought food from a Jew on credit and pawned his armor as collateral.
اشترى رسول الله ﷺ من يهودي طعاما بنسيئة ورهنه درعه.
Bukhari related it in the Book of Sales (2096), and Muslim in the Book of Sharecropping (1603), both of them through Abu Muawiya, who said, Amash narrated to us, from Ibrahim, from Aswad, from Ayesha, who said, and then she mentioned it. The wording given is that of Bukhari, and the wording of Muslim is similar.
