Umar delivered a sermon from the pulpit of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ in which he said, "There are three matters I wish the Messenger of Allah ﷺ had not departed from us before giving us clear instructions about, the share of the grandfather, kalalah, and certain matters concerning usury."
Bukhari reported it in the Book of Drinks (5588), and Muslim in the Book of Tafsir (3032), both from the hadith of Abu Hayan Taymi, from Shaybi, from Ibn Umar, who said, "Umar gave a sermon from the pulpit of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ," and he mentioned it in a longer hadith than this.
